Subodh Bhave begins shooting for Subhash Ghai's 'Vijeta'
Marathi cinema's superstar, Subodh Bhave's last release 'Welcome Home' directed by Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar garnered a lot of accolades for his performance on the big screen. Now, Subodh is all set to win the heart of the audience once again with his sports drama 'Vijeta' produced by veteran Hindi film director and producer Subhash Ghai. Recently, release first look poster featuring him along with Pooja Sawant and Neha Mahajan has already created a buzz in social media. Today, 'Welcome Home' took to his Instagram handle, to share the post, to inform his fans that, he and his team have the kick-starting shooting of the film.
Marathi star, Madhav Deochake, who is popularly known for films like 'Journey Premachi' and 'FU' will be playing a major role in the film alongside lead star Pooja Sawant and Neha Mahajan. Interestingly, instead of being based on one sport, the film will feature various sports including sprinting, wrestling, shot put, weightlifting, cycling and boxing. 'Vijeta' is a fourth Marathi film under the banner of 'Mukta Arts' by Subhash Ghai. 'Sanai Choughade', 'Valu - The Wild Bull' and 'Samhita' were the first three. Director Shetge has a number of Hindi and Marathi films to his credit like Gunaah (2002), Rain: The Terror Within... (2005), Sau Shashi Deodhar (2014), One Way Ticket (2016), etc. Produced by Rahul Puri under the banner of Subhash Ghai's Mukta Arts Limited. The film is slated to release soon.
